Money doesn’t exist separately from your identity
Traditional financial advice can make a lot of assumptions about what a successful life is supposed to look like. Marriage. Homeownership. Kids. A traditional career path. Retirement at a certain age.
Your life may follow some of that path, none of it, or something entirely your own.
Our work starts with your life and your priorities, then looks at how your money can support them.
Different lives.
Different choices.
Financial clarity on your terms.

If we work together, we'll identify your priorities and build an approach that reflects your circumstances.
02
Put it into practice
We'll meet regularly to work through decisions, review your progress, and adjust as life changes.

Just a conversation. No pressure.
This is a free 30-minute consultation, not just a sales call. We’ll spend most of our time talking about what’s going on with your finances and working through something that would be useful to you.
At the end, I’ll tell you a little about how ongoing coaching works. If it feels like the right fit, great. If it doesn’t, that’s okay too. My goal is for you to leave the conversation with something useful either way.
Financial coaching from someone who understands there isn’t one right way to build a life.
M E E T A L E X
I'm Alex (they/them), a queer financial and life coach. I've navigated marriage, divorce, shared credit card debt, homeownership, and moving abroad to three countries. I've started businesses and paid off nearly $90,000 in student loans.
I also spent eight years working in financial technology, helping people understand their finances and make decisions about money.
These experiences shape how I coach. I know that financial decisions are connected to our relationships, responsibilities, and the lives we're building. You don't need to share my experiences to work with me. What matters is that we start with yours.
-
Not at all. I work with people of different backgrounds and identities. As a queer person myself, I know how valuable it can be to work with someone who understands that not everyone's life follows the same path. What matters most is that you feel comfortable showing up as yourself.
-
A lot of financial advice assumes we're all working toward the same things. But marriage, family, relationships, careers, and what financial security looks like can mean different things to different people. I won't assume I know what matters to you because of how you identify. We'll start with your experiences, your priorities, and the life you want to build.
-
Absolutely. Money decisions often involve people we care about, whether we're sharing expenses, planning a future together, or supporting family. We can explore what's important to you, where things feel complicated, and how to approach those conversations with more clarity and confidence.
